Part 1
Examiner
Are you good at memorising things?
Candidate
Actually, I'm not good at memorizing things and I think that I just have the ability to remember things that in a short time. And I I think that the problem is because I'm a student and I'll go have a part time job too, so I have a lot of thing I need to remember every day.
Examiner
Have you ever forgotten something important?
Candidate
Yes, definitely. As I'm remember last week on Wednesday I forgot my phone on the bus stop and I'm really upset and then I need to stop at the first bus stop and then I'll walk back to the bus stop and unfortunately and get my phone and feel that I'm really lucky in to.
Examiner
What do you need to remember in your daily life?

There are a lot of thing I need to remember in my daily life because I'm a student so I need to remember my schedule, table time, and I also work at a nail salon where I need to remember a lot of things.
Examiner
How do you remember important things?
Candidate
There are a lot of ways to remember important things. For example, in the past I often use a technology, but now it's really convenient because I have a phone that I hold everyday and I often take note in my phone and it's easy for me to check the list that I need to do.
Are you good at memorising things?
Example: Not really. I’m not good at memorising things because I can only remember information for a short time. Also, as a student with a part-time job, I have many tasks to juggle, so it’s easy to forget details. Therefore, I rely on notes to keep track of important information.
Have you ever forgotten something important?
Example: Yes. Last Wednesday I forgot my phone at a bus stop. I realised it a few minutes later, went back to the stop and luckily someone had found it, so I got it back. I was very upset at first but relieved when I recovered it.
What do you need to remember in your daily life?
Example: I need to remember several things every day. For example, I keep track of my class timetable and assignment deadlines, and at my nail salon job I have to remember appointment times and client preferences. These help me plan my day effectively.
How do you remember important things?
Example: I usually rely on my smartphone to remember important things. I use a notes app and calendar reminders to record tasks and set alarms for appointments. For instance, I set a reminder for each client appointment so I don’t miss any bookings.
× Actually, I'm not good at memorizing things and I think that I just have the ability to remember things that in a short time.
✓ Actually, I'm not good at memorizing things and I think that I can only remember things for a short time.
'have the ability to remember things that in a short time' is awkward and ungrammatical. Use 'can only remember things for a short time' to express limited memory duration. 'For' is the correct preposition with 'short time' and 'can only' is the proper modal/capability expression.
× And I I think that the problem is because I'm a student and I'll go have a part time job too, so I have a lot of thing I need to remember every day.
✓ And I think that the problem is because I'm a student and I'll have a part-time job too, so I have a lot of things I need to remember every day.
'go have a part time job' is unnatural; say 'I'll have a part-time job'. 'part-time' needs a hyphen. 'thing' should be plural 'things' to match 'a lot of'.
× Yes, definitely. As I'm remember last week on Wednesday I forgot my phone on the bus stop and I'm really upset and then I need to stop at the first bus stop and then I'll walk back to the bus stop and unfortunately and get my phone and feel that I'm really lucky in to.
✓ Yes, definitely. I remember last Wednesday I forgot my phone at the bus stop and I was really upset, so I had to get off at the next stop and walk back to the bus stop and fortunately I got my phone and felt really lucky.
Tense consistency: use past tense 'remember' -> 'remembered' or present 'I remember' with past event phrased in past. Better: 'I remember last Wednesday' + past events. Use 'at the bus stop' not 'on'. 'need to stop' should be past 'had to get off' to match past narrative. Remove redundant 'and' and fix 'unfortunately' to 'fortunately' if outcome positive.
× There are a lot of thing I need to remember in my daily life because I'm a student so I need to remember my schedule, table time, and I also work at a nail salon where I need to remember a lot of things.
✓ There are a lot of things I need to remember in my daily life because I'm a student, so I need to remember my schedule and class times, and I also work at a nail salon where I need to remember many things.
'a lot of thing' should be 'a lot of things'. 'table time' is unclear; likely 'class times' or 'timetable' — 'class times' fits. Use 'many things' for variety and correctness.
× There are a lot of ways to remember important things. For example, in the past I often use a technology, but now it's really convenient because I have a phone that I hold everyday and I often take note in my phone and it's easy for me to check the list that I need to do.
✓ There are a lot of ways to remember important things. For example, in the past I often used technology, but now it's really convenient because I have a phone that I carry every day and I often take notes on my phone and it's easy for me to check the list of things I need to do.
Verb tense: 'use' should be past 'used' to contrast with present. 'a technology' is incorrect; use 'technology'. 'hold everyday' -> 'carry every day'. 'take note' -> 'take notes' and 'in my phone' -> 'on my phone'. 'list that I need to do' -> 'list of things I need to do' for natural phrasing.
