Part 1

Examiner

Are there any rules for students at your school?

Candidate

Yes, I believe every school has its own set of rules to maintain discipline. For instance, in my secondary school, the discipline teachers implement a rules that every student, every female student need to trim their hair by their ears. Uh, maximum for three CM.

Examiner

Do you think students would benefit more from more rules?

Candidate

I believe that if the school enforce too many rules, the more likely the students will break them, especially students in their rebellious phase. Therefore, a reasonable number of clear and fair rules should be introduced to make sure students can follow them more willingly.

Examiner

Have you ever had a really dedicated teacher?

Candidate

Yes, I have AI had a really dedicated teacher in my primary school. She was teaching me Mandarin. I often call her Miss Choi and she is the one. She is the first one who introduced me to using the dictionary which really helps me a lot in improving my language skills.

Examiner

Do you prefer to have more or fewer rules at school?

Candidate

Actually I would prefer a smaller number of rules in schools or university as there are too many rules. I often will think it is ridiculous and unnecessary for the students. Especially the rules like like keeping your hair neat and short and you are not allowed to wear shorts in school.
