Are you a patient person?
Candidato
To be honest, it depends on situations and patients when dealing with children, but not so much when waiting for a delayed flight. The level of patients really depends on my mood and my stress levels.
Examinador
What is it that makes you feel impatient?
Candidato
As for me, waiting for a long queue makes me feel impatient. For instance, when I am waiting for a long queue at hospital or at bank, I think it's such a waste of time. So waiting for too long may make me feel impatient.
Examinador
How do you feel when you have to do something for a long time?
Candidato
When I have to do something for a long time, I may feel a little anxious, especially if there is a tight deadline. I may worry about not finishing on time or not reach my expectation. So in order to solve this problem, I will spare no effort to finish the tasks.
Examinador
Does your job require you to be patient?
Candidato
Definitely. My job requires me to be patient. I work as a Spanish interpreter, so that means I need to understand the foreigner guests concerns and needs. I need to translate one language into another naturally and fully convince the true meaning. That needs patience.
Examinador
Are you more patient now than when you were a child?
Candidato
In my opinion, I made a significant progress. I'm more patient now. When I was a child, if I didn't got the candy or whatever I want, I would break down at once. But now I have managed my mood better than before.

× The level of patients really depends on my mood and my stress levels.
✓ The level of patience really depends on my mood and my stress levels.
这里的错误是将“patience”(耐心)误写为“patients”(病人),属于单复数错误。应使用不可数名词“patience”表示耐心。
× waiting for a long queue at hospital or at bank
✓ waiting for a long queue at the hospital or at the bank
“hospital”和“bank”前缺少定冠词“the”,且“queue”是单数,前面用“a”正确。这里主要是冠词使用错误,属于单复数及冠词问题。
× waiting for a long queue at hospital or at bank
✓ waiting in a long queue at the hospital or at the bank
英语中应说“waiting in a queue”,而不是“waiting for a queue”,介词使用错误。
× if I didn't got the candy or whatever I want
✓ if I didn't get the candy or whatever I wanted
“didn't”后应接动词原形“get”,而不是过去式“got”,这是过去时态错误。同时“want”应改为过去式“wanted”,保持时态一致。
× I may worry about not finishing on time or not reach my expectation.
✓ I may worry about not finishing on time or not reaching my expectation.
“not reach”应改为动名词形式“not reaching”,因为前面是介词“about”,后面动词应用动名词形式。
