Do you like reading?
Puntuación: 66.0Sugerencia: Améliorez la fluidité et réduisez les hésitations ("uh", "umm"). Raccourcissez et clarifiez la réponse en donnant une phrase thème nette, puis ajoutez un ou deux détails spécifiques et pertinents. Évitez les contradictions (par exemple "interesting and noisy" n'explique pas pourquoi vous préférez les vidéos). Utilisez un vocabulaire précis pour expliquer la préférence actuelle et un exemple concret.
Ejemplo: To be honest, I don't read much these days. I used to enjoy fairy tales as a child, but now I prefer short videos because they are quicker to consume and more visually engaging. For example, I follow several short documentary channels that explain topics in a few minutes.
Do you prefer to read on paper or on a screen?
Puntuación: 72.0Sugerencia: Corrigez les erreurs de grammaire et de vocabulaire ("informations" → "information"), éliminez les hésitations et structurez la réponse : affirmation + raison(s) + exemple bref. Variez le vocabulaire (relaxing → easier on my eyes; concentrate → focus).
Ejemplo: I prefer reading on paper because it's easier on my eyes and helps me focus. For instance, when I study articles on paper I can make notes and highlight passages, which I find harder to do when reading on a screen.
When do you need to read carefully, and when not?
Puntuación: 58.0Sugerencia: Clarifiez la structure : commencez par répondre directement (when I need to read carefully / when I don't), puis donnez raisons et exemples précis. Évitez les répétitions et erreurs grammaticales (par exemple "is much more better" → "it's usually better"). Remplacez "informations" par "information" et donnez un exemple concret de situation nécessitant une lecture attentive vs rapide.
Ejemplo: I need to read carefully when the text contains important facts, such as legal documents or study materials, so I don't miss crucial details. Conversely, I skim when I just need the general idea, for example when scanning news headlines while I'm in a hurry.
Do you prefer scanning or detailed reading?
Puntuación: 74.0Sugerencia: Améliorez la cohérence en structurant la réponse : dire d'abord que cela dépend, puis donner deux courtes explications contrastées avec exemples précis. Réduisez les répétitions et les hésitations. Utilisez vocabulaire varié: "in-depth reading" pour detailed, "skim/scan" pour scanning.
Ejemplo: It depends on the purpose. For pleasure reading, like novels, I prefer in-depth reading to understand characters and themes. However, for work I often skim research papers to find relevant sections quickly.
× To be honest, I'm not that into reading.
✓ To be honest, I'm not really into reading.
The phrase 'not that into' is informal but grammatically acceptable; however 'not really into' is more natural. Use 'really' to modify 'into' for clearer present-tense preference expression.
× When I was a kid I loved reading, uh, especially fairy tales.
✓ When I was a kid, I loved reading, especially fairy tales.
A comma is needed after the introductory clause 'When I was a kid' to improve sentence structure. The past tense 'loved' is correct for a past habit.
× Umm. But now I'm more into short videos and look at the photos and videos because it's much more interesting and noisy.
✓ But now I'm more into short videos and looking at photos and videos because they are much more interesting and noisy.
The verbs should be parallel: use 'looking' to match 'into'. Also 'it's' (singular) should agree with plural 'photos and videos', so use 'they are'. This fixes present-tense verb form and subject-pronoun agreement.
× I would definitely go for reading on paper because it's so much more relaxing for my eyes and also umm I can concentrate and analyze the informations better when I read on the paper instead of a screen because I only watch films and series on a screen.
✓ I would definitely prefer reading on paper because it's much more relaxing for my eyes and I can concentrate and analyze the information better when I read on paper instead of on a screen because I only watch films and series on a screen.
Use 'prefer' rather than 'go for' for clarity. 'Informations' is incorrect in English; the uncountable noun 'information' should be used. Remove the article before 'paper' when speaking generally: 'on paper' not 'on the paper'. Also simplify repetitive phrasing for natural present-tense preference expression.
× For me, in most cases is much more better when we, uh, read carefully because they are always important informations that if we read uh, quickly, we cannot catch that, umm, But when we are rushing or we, when we have to catch informations.
✓ For me, in most cases it is much better when we read carefully because there is always important information that we cannot catch if we read quickly, but when we are rushing or have to find information quickly, we skim.
Fix subject 'is' by adding 'it' after the introductory phrase. 'Much more better' is redundant; use 'much better' or 'far better'. 'Informations' should be 'information' (uncountable). Use 'there is' for existence of information. Reorder the conditional clause for clarity and correct tense usage. Replace vague ending with a clear verb 'skim' to match the context.
× For me it depends when it's like a relaxing activity, when I have when I can read novels.
✓ For me, it depends: when it's a relaxing activity and I can read novels,
Improve sentence structure: use a colon or restructure to connect clauses. Remove repeated 'when' and use present tense 'it's' appropriately. This clarifies the condition for detailed reading.
× I love a detailed reading because I want to understand the character, but I usually have to scan because I have to work with a lot of research papers.
✓ I love detailed reading because I want to understand the characters, but I usually have to scan because I have to work with a lot of research papers.
Use 'detailed reading' without the article 'a' for a general activity. 'Character' should be plural 'characters' when speaking generally about novels. The gerund form 'reading' is correctly used as a noun here.
