Part 1
Examinador
Do you like reading?
Candidato
Yes. In fact, I'd like to read self help books and short articles compared to long novels because I can finish them in time. And if I didn't finish the self help book, I don't have to worry about what's gonna happen in the storyline later on, like when I'm reading a novel.

Do you prefer to read on paper or on a screen?
Candidato
Well, I tend to read on screen for two reasons. First, they are cost friendly. As I am a student who just graduated from the UNI, I don't have extra budget for purchasing more books. Second, they can save space for you in your room.
Examinador
When do you need to read carefully, and when not?
Candidato
Well, obviously if I'm reading something important such as contract or if I'm participating an examination, I must have to read carefully. But if I am reading for entertainment such as novel or short story, I don't have to pay too much attention on them.

Do you prefer scanning or detailed reading?
Candidato
Well, it really depends on which language I'm reading in. If I'm reading with my mother tongue, it is time saving for me to scanning without impacting my comprehension about the whole passage. But if I'm reading with other languages, uh, especially articles about my level, I have to say I focus on detailed reading.
Do you like reading?
Puntuación: 78.0Sugerencia: 回答自然且内容相关,但有一些口语填充词和不必要的重复。建议:1) 开头用一到两句主题句直接回应问题(例如“I enjoy reading, especially... ”)。2) 用连词连接细节以提高连贯性(例如“because”或“so”),避免冗长的解释。3) 将非正式口语(gonna)改为正式表达(going to)。4) 将句子控制在最多五句内,去掉多余赘述。
Ejemplo: I enjoy reading, especially self-help books and short articles because they fit my schedule. For example, I can finish an article or a short book in one sitting, so I don’t need to worry about leaving the story unfinished. This makes reading feel relaxing rather than stressful.
Do you prefer to read on paper or on a screen?
Puntuación: 82.0Sugerencia: 回答结构清晰、理由明确,但语言稍显口语化与小错误(cost friendly → cost-effective; UNI → university;‘you’ → avoid generic ‘you’)。建议:1) 用更正式的词汇和第一人称陈述。2) 用连接词(first, second, additionally)使逻辑更清楚。3) 精简句子以避免重复信息。
Ejemplo: I prefer reading on a screen for two main reasons. First, digital books are more cost-effective for me as a recent university graduate with a limited budget. Second, ebooks save physical space at home, which is very convenient.
When do you need to read carefully, and when not?
Puntuación: 76.0Sugerencia: 答案覆盖了要点但语法和表达有瑕疵(must have to → must; participating an examination → taking an exam; singular/plural agreement)。建议:1) 用明确的主题句开始并分别列出两种情况。2) 修正语法错误并使用恰当词汇。3) 加入简短例子或原因以具体化描述。
Ejemplo: I need to read carefully when the material has legal or academic consequences, for example when signing a contract or taking an exam, because mistakes can have serious results. In contrast, when I'm reading for entertainment, such as a novel, I usually skim or relax and don’t focus on every detail.
Do you prefer scanning or detailed reading?
Puntuación: 74.0Sugerencia: 回答思路好但存在语法、用词与流利度问题(reading with → reading in; to scanning → to scan; comprehension about → comprehension of; ‘articles about my level’ 表达模糊)。建议:1) 使用更准确的介词和动词形式。2) 用连接词解释原因并给具体例子(例如阅读中文比阅读英语更快)。3) 删除填充词(uh)并保持句子简洁。
Ejemplo: It depends on the language. When I read in my native language, I usually scan the text to save time because I can still understand the main ideas easily. However, when I read in a foreign language, especially texts at my level, I prefer detailed reading to understand vocabulary and grammar.
× And if I didn't finish the self help book, I don't have to worry about what's gonna happen in the storyline later on, like when I'm reading a novel.
✓ And if I don't finish a self-help book, I don't have to worry about what will happen in the storyline later on, like when I'm reading a novel.
原句用了混合时态('didn't finish' 与现在时 'don't have')和非正式口语 'gonna'。根据上下文,应使用一般现在时或将来时来表达未完成阅读后对剧情的担心。建议将 'didn't finish' 改为 'don't finish',并将 'what's gonna happen' 改为更正式的 'what will happen';同时 'self help book' 应连字符并用不定冠词。改善方法:保持时态一致,避免口语缩略,书写连字符。
× First, they are cost friendly.
✓ First, they are cost-friendly.
原句中 'cost friendly' 应为复合形容词,需用连字符连接为 'cost-friendly'。在英文中,两个词作复合形容词修饰名词或作为表语时常用连字符。建议在写作中使用连字符以提高准确性。
× As I am a student who just graduated from the UNI, I don't have extra budget for purchasing more books.
✓ As I am a student who just graduated from university, I don't have an extra budget for purchasing more books.
原句中 'the UNI' 用法不自然;非正式缩写 'UNI' 应改为 'university',且前面一般不加定冠词 'the'(除非指特定大学)。另外 'extra budget' 前需加不定冠词 'an'。建议使用完整名词并注意冠词使用。
× Second, they can save space for you in your room.
✓ Second, they can save space in your room.
原句 'save space for you in your room' 结构冗余,多余的 'for you' 可省略。更自然的表达是 'save space in your room'。建议简化结构,去掉多余介词短语。
× Well, obviously if I'm reading something important such as contract or if I'm participating an examination, I must have to read carefully.
✓ Well, obviously if I'm reading something important such as a contract or if I'm taking an examination, I must read carefully.
原句 'must have to' 是错误重复的情态动词结构,应使用单一情态动词 'must' 表示必须;'participating an examination' 用法不当,通常用 'taking an examination';'contract' 前需加不定冠词 'a'。建议使用正确的情态动词和常见搭配。
× But if I am reading for entertainment such as novel or short story, I don't have to pay too much attention on them.
✓ But if I am reading for entertainment such as a novel or a short story, I don't have to pay too much attention to them.
原句中 'such as novel or short story' 缺少冠词,应为 'a novel' / 'a short story';动词 'pay attention' 的搭配介词是 'to' 而非 'on'。建议注意冠词使用和固定搭配 'pay attention to'。
× If I'm reading with my mother tongue, it is time saving for me to scanning without impacting my comprehension about the whole passage.
✓ If I'm reading in my mother tongue, it is time-saving for me to scan without affecting my comprehension of the whole passage.
原句存在多处问题:'reading with my mother tongue' 常用 'reading in my mother tongue';'time saving' 应加连字符作形容词 'time-saving';'to scanning' 结构错误,应为不定式 'to scan';'impacting my comprehension about' 搭配不自然,改为 'affecting my comprehension of'。建议注意介词搭配、动词形式和复合形容词连字符。
× But if I'm reading with other languages, uh, especially articles about my level, I have to say I focus on detailed reading.
✓ But if I'm reading in other languages, especially articles at my level, I have to say I focus on detailed reading.
原句 'reading with other languages' 应为 'reading in other languages';'articles about my level' 更自然为 'articles at my level'。建议注意介词 'in' 与 'at' 的正确使用以表达语言和程度。
