Candidato
Well, definitely on paper because for us, my new thread for a book, it's much easier. You wanna sometimes you wanna scan skims. You do skimming and scanning. And then if you want to go to a particular page, I'm sure like turning to the page in the book. It's definitely easier than scrolling.

When do you need to read carefully, and when not?
Candidato
When I work I need to read carefully because I'm as a speech pathologist I read a lot of reports of the client and I wouldn't want to miss any detail of the clients that may contribute to who she is now. So I need all the bits and pieces of evidence and to find out.

Do you prefer scanning or detailed reading?
Candidato
Umm, it depends on the purpose. If I am to read reports, as I said I need to read it in details. But if I'm just doing leisure reading I will just umm, maybe scanning or when I'm reading magazine or just scan newspaper.
Do you like reading?
Ejemplo: Yes, I enjoy reading both fiction and nonfiction. Recently I’ve read fewer books because I’ve been very busy with work and family commitments. Lately I’ve been reading short articles about speech therapy and a novel by Kazuo Ishiguro in my spare time.
Do you prefer to read on paper or on a screen?
Ejemplo: I prefer reading on paper because it’s easier to skim and to flip back to a specific page. Paper books also make it simpler to add notes and I find them less tiring on the eyes than long periods of screen reading.
When do you need to read carefully, and when not?
Puntuación: 72.0Sugerencia: 回答信息明确且有职业背景支撑,但句子结构不够紧凑并有小语法问题(e.g., 'I'm as a speech pathologist' 应为 'as a speech pathologist')。
Ejemplo: As a speech pathologist, I need to read client reports very carefully because small details about their history or test results can affect diagnosis and treatment. For example, notes about speech milestones or previous therapies help me decide the next steps.
Do you prefer scanning or detailed reading?
Ejemplo: It depends on the purpose. For professional reports I read in detail and often highlight important passages. For leisure reading, like magazines or newspapers, I usually skim to catch the main points quickly.
× I enjoy reading umm, fiction or nonfiction. However, I spend much less time reading nowadays like these few years.
✓ I enjoy reading fiction or nonfiction. However, I have spent much less time reading in recent years.
建议使用现在完成时(have spent)并用更自然的时间短语(in recent years)。
× Well, definitely on paper because for us, my new thread for a book, it's much easier.
✓ Well, definitely on paper because for me, a new book feels much easier to read.
“for us”应为“for me”以表个人偏好;“my new thread for a book”不是英语自然表达,意思不明确。应改为“a new book feels much easier to read”来表达在纸上阅读更轻松。
× You wanna sometimes you wanna scan skims. You do skimming and scanning.
✓ Sometimes you want to skim or scan; you do skimming and scanning.
× And then if you want to go to a particular page, I'm sure like turning to the page in the book.
✓ And if you want to go to a particular page, turning to it in a book is definitely easier than scrolling.
原句代词和结构不完整,“I'm sure like turning to the page in the book”不是完整句子且口语化。
× When I work I need to read carefully because I'm as a speech pathologist I read a lot of reports of the client and I wouldn't want to miss any detail of the clients that may contribute to who she is now.
✓ When I work I need to read carefully because, as a speech pathologist, I read a lot of clients' reports and I don't want to miss any details that may explain who they are now.
“I'm as a speech pathologist”应为“as a speech pathologist”。“reports of the client”更自然地说成“clients' reports”。
× So I need all the bits and pieces of evidence and to find out.
✓ So I need all the bits and pieces of evidence to find out the relevant information.
原句结构不完整,“and to find out”缺少宾语,导致句子不完整。
× If I am to read reports, as I said I need to read it in details.
✓ If I am reading reports, as I said, I need to read them in detail.
“If I am to read reports”不如“If I am reading reports”自然;“read it”与“reports”复数不一致,应为“read them”。“in details”不正确,正确搭配为“in detail”。
× But if I'm just doing leisure reading I will just umm, maybe scanning or when I'm reading magazine or just scan newspaper.
✓ But if I'm just doing leisure reading, I might do some skimming, or when I'm reading a magazine I just skim a newspaper.
“maybe scanning”应改为“might do some skimming”更自然;“reading magazine”缺冠词,应为“reading a magazine”;“scan newspaper”也需冠词或改为“skim a newspaper”。
