Well, it's really depends because the rule have to be really fair and not too strict to the student. For example, students need to respect the teacher and it's very necessary. But like those we cannot go to the bathroom during the class is for somebody there needs some freedom, so it's too strict.

I think a more relaxed teaching style helps students feel more comfortable and open to learning. I have heard stories from friends about security teacher but I haven't experienced it myself.
