Do you think geography is useful?
Candidato
I, I think geography is useful in some special conditions. For example, if people ask you, do you know this place? Do you know that that place? And you may say, I know that, I know that. And I can also give you some explanation. I can tell you more about that place and other people will say, wow, you're amazing. But for me, I don't think geography is for, to me, because people never ask me about that. So I don't even have to tell them the answers. And for me, I, I do not study that.

Have you ever learned geography?

I've done geography in my middle school but I only had some have some bad memories about it because there's a exam in my middle school because you you need to pass it or other otherwise you you can't graduate from middle school. × I do not like geography because I just started studying geography when I was in middle school, but now in high school I've never studied geography.
✓ I do not like geography because I started studying it when I was in middle school, but now in high school I have never studied geography.
The phrase 'just started' is acceptable but 'I've never studied' should be 'I have never studied' to maintain proper present perfect tense. Also, 'just' is better omitted here for clarity. The sentence mixes past and present perfect tenses; correcting helps clarity and tense consistency.
× So I just I don't, I didn't even have the chance to know about it, so I may not say I like.
✓ So I just don't, I didn't even have the chance to learn about it, so I may not say I like it.
The phrase 'to know about it' is incorrect; the correct verb is 'to learn about it' when referring to gaining knowledge. Also, 'may not say I like' is awkward; adding 'it' clarifies the object. The sentence mixes present and past tenses; keeping 'didn't have' for past and 'don't' for present is acceptable.
× I, I think geography is useful in some special conditions.
✓ I think geography is useful in some special situations.
The phrase 'in some special conditions' is awkward; 'in some special situations' is more natural English. 'Conditions' usually refers to physical or environmental states, while 'situations' fits better for contexts or circumstances.
× And you may say, I know that, I know that.
✓ And you may say, 'I know that, I know that.'
Adding quotation marks clarifies the direct speech. Also, repeating 'I know that' twice is acceptable for emphasis but should be punctuated properly.
× But for me, I don't think geography is for, to me, because people never ask me about that.
✓ But for me, I don't think geography is for me, because people never ask me about it.
The phrase 'is for, to me' is incorrect; it should be 'is for me'. Also, 'about that' is better as 'about it' to refer back to geography. Correct preposition and pronoun usage improves clarity.
× I've done geography in my middle school but I only had some have some bad memories about it because there's a exam in my middle school because you you need to pass it or other otherwise you you can't graduate from middle school.
✓ I studied geography in middle school but I only have some bad memories about it because there was an exam in middle school that you needed to pass; otherwise, you couldn't graduate.
'I've done geography' is awkward; 'I studied geography' is better. 'There's a exam' should be 'there was an exam' to match past tense and article usage. 'You you' is a repetition error. 'Other otherwise' is incorrect; 'otherwise' alone suffices. Correcting tense, articles, and removing repetitions improves sentence correctness.
× So at first I'm very very bad at geography and I was like I need to study geography every day to pass that exams.
✓ At first, I was very bad at geography and I thought I needed to study geography every day to pass those exams.
'I'm very very bad' should be past tense 'I was very bad' to match the time frame. 'I was like' is informal and should be 'I thought'. 'That exams' is incorrect; 'those exams' is correct plural demonstrative adjective. Correct tense and word choice improve formality and grammar.
× I've never thought about that. I don't want to be a Geo geography teacher. That's just not my piece of cake.
✓ I've never thought about that. I don't want to be a geography teacher. That's just not my cup of tea.
'Geo geography' is redundant; 'geography' suffices. The idiom is 'not my cup of tea', not 'piece of cake'. Correct idiomatic expression and pronoun usage improve naturalness.
× I think, umm, no, because I just, my curiosity is not in that geography of a thing.
✓ I think, umm, no, because my curiosity is not in geography.
The phrase 'in that geography of a thing' is awkward and incorrect. Simplifying to 'in geography' is clearer and grammatically correct. Removing unnecessary words improves clarity.
× But my friend, uh, one of my friend Carly, she's very, very interested in geography and she go to a lot of beautiful places and she tried different food.
✓ But my friend, uh, one of my friends, Carly, she's very interested in geography and she goes to a lot of beautiful places and tries different foods.
'One of my friend' should be 'one of my friends' to match plural form. 'She go' should be 'she goes' for third person singular agreement. 'She tried' should be 'she tries' to maintain present tense consistency. 'Different food' should be 'different foods' to indicate variety. Correcting plural forms and subject-verb agreement improves grammar.
