Part 1

Examinador

Are you good at memorising things?

Candidato

I wish I can say I'm good at memorizing things, but these days I don't think I'm as good as I was when I was before. Uh, when I was a bit more younger I could memorize like the phone numbers and age and birthdays of all of my friends and families right surrounding me, but these days, not so much.

Examinador

Have you ever forgotten something important?

Candidato

Yes, as I've mentioned earlier, I have forgotten some of my best friend's birthdays these days. I know that's a really, uh, an admirable move to take. So I got straight back. I wanted to go back on tracks to memorize their birthday so I can be the first to congratulate them. I'm working on that. It's still a work in progress.

Examinador

What do you need to remember in your daily life?

Candidato

One of the things that I think is crucial to remember in your daily life is your routine. For me, my routine is when I get up, I should have a lukewarm drink of water. I have a shower. Think about what I'm gonna do to the in my today, in my work and also in my academics. Just a refreshing my day-to-day.

Examinador

How do you remember important things?

Candidato

When it comes to memorizing things, one of the strategies that I would take is, uh, just simply taking a memo. I love using like sticker memos right next to me. I write what's gonna happen On this date and put it on the calendar. And if it's very important, if the occasion is very important, I would write about it and put an alarm in my calendar inside my phone.

Are you good at memorising things?

Pontuação: 68.0

Sugestão: 문법과 표현의 정확성을 높이고 답변을 더 간결하게 만드세요. 현재 시제와 과거 시제를 명확히 구분하고 불필요한 반복(예: "these days", "when I was before")을 줄이세요. 예문은 주제문(능력 없음) → 과거와 비교한 구체적 예시 → 현재 상황 요약의 구조로, 연결어(when, but, so)를 적절히 사용해 자연스럽게 연결하세요.

Exemplo: I'm not very good at memorising things anymore. When I was younger, I could easily remember phone numbers and my friends' birthdays, but now I tend to forget them more often.

Have you ever forgotten something important?

Pontuação: 64.0

Sugestão: 표현 명확성과 자연스러움을 개선하세요. 'admirable move' 같은 부적절한 표현을 피하고, 문장 연결을 논리적으로 구성하세요. 간단한 과거 경험 진술 → 문제의 영향 → 개선을 위한 구체적 조치(예: 메모, 캘린더) → 현재 상태 순으로 구성하면 효과적입니다.

Exemplo: Yes, I've forgotten some of my close friends' birthdays. That made me feel guilty, so I started using my phone calendar and sticky notes to remind me. I'm still getting used to this system, but it's helping.

What do you need to remember in your daily life?

Pontuação: 70.0

Sugestão: 문장 구조를 명확히 하고 어색한 표현을 바로잡으세요. 'your' 대신 'my' 등 주어 일관성을 유지하고, 항목을 나열할 때 연결어(for example, then, and)로 흐름을 매끄럽게 만드세요. 구체적인 이유(예: 건강, 집중력 향상)를 추가하면 설득력이 높아집니다.

Exemplo: I need to remember my daily routine. For example, when I wake up I drink a glass of lukewarm water, take a shower, and plan my tasks for work and study. Doing this helps me feel refreshed and stay focused throughout the day.

How do you remember important things?

Pontuação: 76.0

Sugestão: 자연스럽고 간결한 표현을 사용하세요. 반복을 줄이고 시제와 어법을 일관되게 유지하세요. 구체적인 예시(예: 알람을 특정 시간에 설정, 색깔별 스티커 사용)와 연결어(for example, then, if)로 구조화하면 더 명확합니다.

Exemplo: I usually write things down to remember them. For example, I use sticky notes for quick reminders and add important dates to my phone calendar with alarms. For very important events, I set multiple reminders and use different colours to prioritise them.

Gramática

Modal verb usage

× I wish I can say I'm good at memorizing things, but these days I don't think I'm as good as I was when I was before.

I wish I could say I'm good at memorizing things, but these days I don't think I'm as good as I was before.

'Wish' for present unreal situations requires a past modal form; use 'could' not 'can'. Also 'when I was before' is redundant; 'before' alone is correct. Suggestion: use 'I wish I could...' and remove redundant words.

Incorrect use of adjectives or adverbs

× Uh, when I was a bit more younger I could memorize like the phone numbers and age and birthdays of all of my friends and families right surrounding me, but these days, not so much.

Uh, when I was a bit younger I could memorize, like, the phone numbers, ages, and birthdays of all my friends and family around me, but these days, not so much.

Use 'younger' not 'more younger' (double comparative). Use plural 'ages' for multiple people. 'Friends and family' is standard, not 'friends and families'. Remove extra 'right' and fix commas. Suggestion: avoid double comparatives and ensure plural forms for lists.

Present perfect issue

× Yes, as I've mentioned earlier, I have forgotten some of my best friend's birthdays these days.

Yes, as I mentioned earlier, I have forgotten some of my best friends' birthdays recently.

Mixing 'as I've mentioned earlier' and 'these days' is awkward; simple past 'I mentioned' fits spoken context. Use plural possessive 'friends'' for birthdays of multiple friends. 'Recently' is clearer than 'these days' with present perfect. Suggestion: match tense and use correct possessive plural.

Incorrect use of adjectives or adverbs

× I know that's a really, uh, an admirable move to take.

I know that's not a very admirable thing to do.

'Admirable move to take' is unnatural for forgetting birthdays; likely meant 'not admirable'. Also 'an admirable' with 'really' awkward. Use 'thing to do' and include negation. Suggestion: choose natural collocations ('thing to do'/'action').

Sentence structure errors

× So I got straight back.

So I tried to get back on track.

'Got straight back' is ungrammatical in this context. Idiomatic expression is 'get back on track' or 'got straight to it' depending on meaning. Suggestion: use idiomatic phrase 'get back on track'.

Verb + -ing form

× I wanted to go back on tracks to memorize their birthday so I can be the first to congratulate them.

I wanted to get back on track to memorize their birthdays so I could be the first to congratulate them.

Use idiom 'get back on track' (singular). 'Birthday' should be plural 'birthdays' for multiple friends. Sequence of tenses: past 'wanted' pairs with 'could' not 'can'. Suggestion: match idioms and tense consistency.

Present tense issue

× I'm working on that.

I'm working on that.

Sentence is correct. Present progressive is appropriate to show ongoing action. No change needed.

Incorrect use of pronouns

× For me, my routine is when I get up, I should have a lukewarm drink of water.

For me, my routine when I get up is to have a lukewarm drink of water.

Avoid redundancy 'For me, my routine is when I get up'. Infinitive 'to have' fits structure. Suggestion: rephrase to 'my routine when I get up is to...'. Also 'should' is unnecessary for routine description.

Incorrect use of pronouns

× I have a shower.

I take a shower.

'Take a shower' is the common collocation in English; 'have a shower' is acceptable in British English but 'take' is more general. Suggestion: use 'take a shower' for clarity.

Incorrect use of pronouns

× Think about what I'm gonna do to the in my today, in my work and also in my academics.

I think about what I'm going to do today in my work and in my studies.

Fix word order and remove extraneous 'the' and duplicate 'in my'. Use 'going to' instead of 'gonna' in formal correction and 'studies' rather than 'academics'. Suggestion: use clear word order: 'think about what I'm going to do today in my work and studies.'

Sentence structure errors

× Just a refreshing my day-to-day.

It's just to refresh my day-to-day routine.

Original lacks a clear verb and article; 'a refreshing my' is ungrammatical. Use infinitive 'to refresh' and include 'routine'. Suggestion: ensure complete clause with verb.

Verb + -ing form

× When it comes to memorizing things, one of the strategies that I would take is, uh, just simply taking a memo.

When it comes to memorizing things, one strategy I use is simply taking a note.

'Would take' is conditional; use present habit 'use' or 'do'. 'Taking a memo' is awkward; 'taking a note' or 'making a note' is natural. Suggestion: use present simple for habitual strategies.

Incorrect use of prepositions

× I love using like sticker memos right next to me.

I like using sticker notes right next to me.

'Love using like' is colloquial and redundant. 'Sticker memos' awkward—use 'sticker notes'. 'Right next to me' is okay. Suggestion: simplify to 'I like using sticker notes next to me.'

Incorrect use of pronouns

× I write what's gonna happen On this date and put it on the calendar.

I write what is going to happen on that date and put it on the calendar.

Capitalize 'On' incorrectly; use 'that date' for clarity. Replace 'gonna' with 'going to' in standard English. Suggestion: use formal forms in writing.

Verb + -ing form

× And if it's very important, if the occasion is very important, I would write about it and put an alarm in my calendar inside my phone.

And if the occasion is very important, I write about it and set an alarm in my phone's calendar.

Use present simple for habitual action ('I write'/'I set'). 'Put an alarm in my calendar inside my phone' is awkward; use 'set an alarm in my phone's calendar'. Suggestion: use concise, habitual-present phrasing.
