Do you like reading?
Ví dụ: Yes, I enjoy reading because it helps me learn and grow. For example, I often read popular science books like 'Sapiens' which give me new perspectives on history and society.
Do you prefer to read on paper or on a screen?
注意介词用法(on paper, on a screen/not 'on both of them' → 'both' suffice),句子可更精炼,加入比较性连接词(however, while)使衔接更自然,并给出具体场景。
Ví dụ: I prefer both, but for different reasons: on paper I enjoy the tactile feel and calm atmosphere, while reading on a screen is more convenient when I'm travelling or commuting.
When do you need to read carefully, and when not?
Ví dụ: I need to read carefully when studying for exams or signing contracts because accuracy matters; however, I skim news articles or social media posts when I only want the main idea.
Do you prefer scanning or detailed reading?
Ví dụ: Generally I prefer detailed reading to fully understand texts; however, if an article is irrelevant or lengthy, I usually scan headings and first paragraphs to decide if it's worth a full read.
× I can receive a lot of interesting informations and beneficial knowledges from books, so I like reading very much.
✓ I can get a lot of interesting information and useful knowledge from books, so I like reading very much.
应使用不可数形式或用量词(a piece of information, some knowledge)来表达数量;此外“beneficial knowledges”不自然,改为“useful knowledge”更贴切。
× I prefer to read on both of them because when I read on the paper, it can give me a sense of intimacy and peace.
✓ I prefer to read on both because when I read on paper, it gives me a sense of intimacy and peace.
句中“both of them”用法不当且句子主语不明确,改为简单的“both”。
× I can read it and everywhere I go.
✓ I can read it everywhere I go.
应直接用状语“everywhere I go”修饰“read it”。
× OK, when I when I have a test I need to read carefully so that I would not miss any important informations.
✓ OK, when I have a test I need to read carefully so that I will not miss any important information.
不应重复“when I”。用于表示习惯或将来的情况应使用现在时(when I have a test)和将来结果用“will”而不是“would”。
× But if I just have a look at a random article, I do not need to read carefully.
✓ But if I just have a look at a random article, I do not need to read carefully.
× Most of the time I prefer the detailed reading, but sometimes if I'm not interested in the article, I choose to scan it.
✓ Most of the time I prefer detailed reading, but sometimes if I'm not interested in the article, I choose to scan it.
× Sometimes, if the situation required me to read it carefully, I would demand myself to read it very carefully.
✓ Sometimes, if the situation requires me to read carefully, I force myself to do so.
原句时态不一致且用词不自然:“required”与上下文习惯不符,应用一般现在时“requires”;“demand myself to read”不地道,改为“force myself to do so”更符合英语表达,且避免重复“read it very carefully”。
