× My favorite food is umm Italian cuisine.
✓ My favorite food is Italian cuisine.
Remove the filler 'umm' in formal responses; it's not a grammar error but unnatural in written answer. The sentence otherwise is correct. Suggestion: avoid fillers in spoken/written answers to sound clearer.
× I like Italian very much.
✓ I like Italian food very much.
The adjective 'Italian' needs a noun to make the meaning clear here. 'Italian' alone can be used as a noun meaning people from Italy, but in this context the student means Italian food. Suggestion: add the noun 'food' to clarify.
× Whenever I go out I usually order Italian food which include Italian pizza, UMM, spaghetti and many more, so I love Italian.
✓ Whenever I go out, I usually order Italian food, which includes Italian pizza, spaghetti, and many other dishes, so I love Italian food.
The relative clause refers to 'Italian food' (singular collective), so the verb should be 'includes' not 'include'. Remove filler 'UMM' and add commas. Use 'many other dishes' for natural expression. Suggestion: ensure verb agrees with its subject and avoid fillers.
× When I was young, I was not considerable about my health, so I usually preferred fast food over healthy foods.
✓ When I was young, I was not concerned about my health, so I usually preferred fast food to healthy food.
'Considerable' is incorrect here; the correct adjective is 'concerned'. Use the preposition 'about' with 'concerned'. Also use 'preferred X to Y' or 'preferred X over Y' but keep parallel nouns: 'fast food' and 'healthy food' (uncountable). Suggestion: choose correct adjective and keep parallel structure.
× Uh, especially the fried momos and Hakka noodles.
✓ I especially liked fried momos and Hakka noodles.
Fragment: the original is a sentence fragment lacking a main verb. Make it a full sentence by adding subject and verb and matching past tense context. Suggestion: avoid sentence fragments; ensure each sentence has a subject and verb.
× These were my favorite and I was eating them every second day.
✓ These were my favorites and I ate them every other day.
Use plural 'favorites' for multiple items. 'I was eating them every second day' is awkward; use simple past 'I ate them every other day' to match habitual past action. Suggestion: use simple past for repeated past habits and correct plural nouns.
× Yes, I am a foodie person so I like to try different cuisines throughout the year.
✓ Yes, I am a foodie, so I like to try different cuisines throughout the year.
'Foodie person' is redundant; 'foodie' alone is enough. Add a comma before the coordinating conjunction. Suggestion: avoid redundant combinations and punctuate clauses.
× Umm whenever I visit a new location I would like I would always try a new food that suits their locality or which is famous in that region.
✓ Whenever I visit a new place, I always try a new dish that suits the local cuisine or is famous in that region.
Remove unnecessary conditional 'would like I would' which is ungrammatical. Use simple present 'try' for habitual actions. Use 'place' or 'location' and 'dish' and 'local cuisine' for natural phrasing. Suggestion: use present simple for habits and avoid doubling modals/conditionals.
× So yes, I am very little.
✓ So yes, I am very adventurous (about food).
'Very little' is incorrect in this context and unclear. The student likely meant 'very open' or 'adventurous' regarding trying foods. Suggestion: choose an adjective that conveys willingness to try different foods.
× No, my favorite food haven't changed since I was a child.
✓ No, my favorite food hasn't changed since I was a child.
Subject 'my favorite food' is singular (collective), so use 'hasn't' (has not), not 'haven't'. Suggestion: ensure auxiliary verb agrees with the subject number.
× Umm, since I was a child, I always used to eat Hakka noodles every other day, which was uh, my favorite favorite.
✓ Since I was a child, I used to eat Hakka noodles every other day, which was my favorite.
Combine 'always used to' is redundant; 'used to' already indicates a past habit. Remove filler 'uh' and duplicate 'favorite'. Keep past habit tense 'used to'. Suggestion: avoid redundant tense markers and fillers, and avoid word repetition.
× And now also after so many years, Hakka noodles are my constant favorite so.
✓ Even after so many years, Hakka noodles are still my constant favorite.
Reorder words for natural English: 'even after so many years' and 'are still my constant favorite'. Remove extraneous 'so' at the end. Suggestion: place adverbs like 'still' before main verb for clarity and avoid trailing fillers.
