Do you take photos of buildings?
Thí sinh
Hmm, I would say maybe only the interesting buildings. Since I live in a large city with a lot of buildings, I'm kind of used to the build building architecture views so I usually take photos for the natural landscape.

Is there a building that you would like to visit?
Thí sinh
MMM. I would say for now, maybe no, because I can't come out with any building which I really want to visit now before I really want to visit the Paris Tower and during this extreme program I went during on Christmas Eve. So for now I've satisfied.

Do you want to live in a tall building?
Thí sinh
For me, I, uh, I was living in a tall building in Taiwan, so when I go back to Taiwan, I was still living in a tall building. So for now, yes, I want because I miss my home so much. But for in the future, I don't think so because I think tall building is a bit dangerous when if earthquake is happening.

Điểm: 54.0Gợi ý: Make the answer more natural, concise, and structured: start with a clear topic sentence, then add one or two specific supporting details. Avoid filler words and incorrect word forms. Use correct prepositions and singular/plural forms (e.g., 'near my home', 'skyscrapers'), and remove redundant phrases.
Ví dụ: Yes. I live in Taiwan’s capital, so there are many skyscrapers near my home. Some are residential buildings and others are hotels or department stores, and I often go shopping in those malls.
Do you take photos of buildings?
Điểm: 50.0Gợi ý: Give a direct topic sentence and then one clear reason with a specific example. Avoid repetition and correct grammar (e.g., 'used to the building architecture' → 'used to the architecture of buildings' or 'used to seeing tall buildings'). Clarify contrast if you mean you photograph nature more than buildings.
Ví dụ: I only photograph buildings that look interesting. Because I live in a big city and see buildings every day, I’m more likely to take photos of striking architecture, but I usually photograph natural landscapes when I want something different.
Is there a building that you would like to visit?
Điểm: 42.0Gợi ý: Answer directly and clearly. If you have no current wish to visit a building, state that and briefly explain why. Avoid unclear phrases and mixed time references. If you mention a past visit (e.g., Eiffel Tower), describe it succinctly and relevantly.
Ví dụ: Not at the moment. I don’t have any specific building I want to visit right now because I’m satisfied with places I’ve already seen. For example, I visited the Eiffel Tower on a school trip at Christmas and that was enough for now.
Do you want to live in a tall building?
Điểm: 60.0Gợi ý: Structure your answer: give your current preference, explain why with a specific reason, and then add future consideration. Remove hesitations and correct tense and conditional forms (e.g., 'if an earthquake happens'). Use linking words (however, but) to show contrast.
Ví dụ: At the moment, yes — I want to live in a tall building because I used to live in one in Taiwan and I miss that lifestyle. However, in the long term I’m not sure because tall buildings can be risky if an earthquake happens.
× there are a lot of Saka skyscrapers near in my hometown and some of them are for accommodation and some of them are hotels or maybe department store.
✓ There are a lot of skyscrapers in my hometown; some of them are apartment buildings, some are hotels, and some are department stores.
Incorrect preposition 'near in' should be 'in' or 'near my hometown'; 'Saka' unclear and likely unnecessary; parallel list items need correct noun forms ('apartment buildings', 'department stores') and proper coordination using commas and 'and'. Use 'in my hometown' for location and plural forms for multiple items.
× Usually go shopping there.
✓ I usually go shopping there.
Sentence lacks subject; add 'I' to form a complete present tense sentence. 'Usually' indicates habitual present, so structure 'I usually go shopping there.' is correct.
× I'm kind of used to the build building architecture views so I usually take photos for the natural landscape.
✓ I'm kind of used to the building architecture, so I usually take photos of natural landscapes.
Redundant/repeated words 'build building' should be 'building'; 'architecture views' is awkward — 'building architecture' or 'architectural views'; preposition 'for' is incorrect with 'take photos' which should use 'of'; 'landscape' pluralized to 'landscapes' fits habitual action.
× I would say for now, maybe no, because I can't come out with any building which I really want to visit now before I really want to visit the Paris Tower and during this extreme program I went during on Christmas Eve.
✓ I would say not for now, because I can't think of any building I want to visit at the moment; before, I really wanted to visit the Eiffel Tower and I went there during a study program on Christmas Eve.
Multiple structural problems: 'come out with' is incorrect — use 'think of'; 'maybe no' is informal — 'not for now' is clearer; 'Paris Tower' should be 'Eiffel Tower'; 'during this extreme program I went during on' is ungrammatical — clarify as 'during a study program' and remove extra prepositions. Break into clearer clauses and correct tense and word choice.
× So for now I've satisfied.
✓ So for now I'm satisfied.
'I've satisfied' incorrectly uses present perfect transitive form; 'satisfied' here is a predicate adjective requiring 'am' — 'I'm satisfied' expresses current state. Present simple or present perfect ('I've been satisfied') could work, but 'I'm satisfied' is most natural.
× I was living in a tall building in Taiwan, so when I go back to Taiwan, I was still living in a tall building.
✓ I lived in a tall building in Taiwan, and when I went back, I still lived in a tall building.
Inconsistent and incorrect tense use: switch to simple past 'lived' and 'went' for completed past actions. Avoid mixing past continuous with simple past unless emphasizing duration; maintain parallel past tense for clarity.
× So for now, yes, I want because I miss my home so much.
✓ So for now, yes, I want to, because I miss my home so much.
Sentence needs 'to' after 'want' if followed by an infinitive implied (e.g., 'to live there') or restructure; adding 'to' clarifies the intention. Alternatively: 'I want to live there because I miss my home so much.' Present tense 'miss' is correct.
× But for in the future, I don't think so because I think tall building is a bit dangerous when if earthquake is happening.
✓ But in the future, I don't think so, because I think tall buildings are a bit dangerous if an earthquake happens.
Remove redundant 'for'; 'when if' is incorrect — choose 'if' or 'when'; use plural 'tall buildings' to match general statement; use 'are' for subject-verb agreement; 'if an earthquake happens' is natural conditional phrasing.
