× I prefer handwriting. Someone may call me old fashioned, but I think handwriting have some unique characteristics that, uh, a laptop can replace.
✓ I prefer handwriting. Someone may call me old-fashioned, but I think handwriting has some unique characteristics that a laptop cannot replace.
主谓一致错误(Subject-verb agreement)。原句中“handwriting have”中handwriting为不可数名词或单数主语,谓语动词应使用单数形式“has”。此外“that a laptop can replace”含义不清且与语境相反,正确应为“cannot replace”表示笔迹具有笔记本无法取代的独特性。建议:识别主语是单数还是复数,并根据主语选择动词形式;注意否定以表达相反含义。
× Uh, suddenly I do, I type a lot on a laptop keyboard, uh, because I'm still, uh, uh, doing my bachelor program and I do need to write a lot of thesis. So in this case, I think a desktop can, uh, help me better.
✓ I usually do — I type a lot on a laptop keyboard because I'm still doing my bachelor's program and I do need to write a lot of theses. So in this case, I think a desktop could help me more.
现在时/频率副词和可数名词形式错误(Present tense issue / Singular and plural issue)。 1) 用词“suddenly”不合情境,应为表示习惯频率的词如“usually”或省略。 2) “bachelor program”通常用所有格形式“bachelor's program”。 3) “a lot of thesis”中“thesis”作为可数名词,复数形式为“theses”。 4) 句末“help me better”不地道,改为“could help me more”更自然且礼貌。建议:注意语义选择合适的副词、使用名词正确的单复数形式,使用地道词组表达比较和帮助。
× I actually learned how to type on T keyword in my elementary school. Uh, we had a class at 10 that, uh, we have, we had a computer class to teach you how to do, umm, uh, typing without visualizing it.
✓ I actually learned how to type on the keyboard in my elementary school. We had a computer class at ten that taught us how to touch-type without looking at the keys.
动词过去分词/被动或过去式使用错误(Verb in the past participle form / Past tense issue)。 1) “T keyword”为拼写错误,应为“the keyboard”。 2) 时态混乱,描述过去经历应使用过去式“taught us”。 3) “typing without visualizing it”表达不自然,正确术语为“touch-type without looking at the keys”。建议:叙述过去事件时一致使用过去时,注意词汇拼写并使用常见表达(touch-type, look at the keys)。
× I think a person can only improve your typing skills by typing a lot.
✓ I think a person can only improve their typing skills by typing a lot.
句子结构与代词指代错误(Sentence structure errors / Incorrect use of pronouns)。原句中主语是“a person”(第三人称单数),但后半句错误地使用了“your”(第二人称)。应保持人称一致,使用中性代词“their”或将全句改为第二人称“you can only improve your typing...”。建议:保持句子主语和代词人称一致,使用中性复数代词“their”来避免性别或人称不一致问题。
× If you type enough then you will actually know where all the keyboard is.
✓ If you type enough, then you will actually know where all the keys on the keyboard are.
现在时/词序与主谓一致问题(Present tense issue / Subject-verb agreement / Incorrect word order)。 1) “where all the keyboard is”中“keyboard”应替换为“keys”(复数),并且表位置的从句中动词应与复数主语一致,故用“are”。 2) 更自然的表达是“where all the keys on the keyboard are”。建议:注意可数名词单复数,构造表示位置的从句时使动词与实际主语一致。
× And sometimes it's still confusing, but most of the time it's pretty clear.
✓ Sometimes it's still confusing, but most of the time it's pretty clear.
句子结构错误(Sentence structure errors)。句首多余的连词“And”在口语中常见但书面语可省略,移除可使句子更简洁。建议:在正式回答中避免不必要的开头连词,保持句子简洁流畅。
