Part 1

考官

Do you have a talent or something you are good at?

考生

When I was a child, most of my relatives say that I'm good at singing, like I feel really confident when I sing in front of the crowd and also I'm really enjoying singing. It's make me feel happy and cheerful. And a lot of my relatives always encourage me to participate in some music shows.

考官

Was it mastered recently or when you were young?

考生

Maybe yes, my friends are amazed my vocal skill when I raise my voice and they say that I really have a talented in it. And also nowadays I participate in a music club in my school and I perform a a lot of the show of my school and also to another school, uh, in some stage too.

考官

Do you think your talent can be useful for your future work? Why?

考生

Actually not, although I'm quite good at singing, but my dream job is not to become a singer and I think that it's just my hobby. When I feel tired and when I have a chest, I will sing to express my emotions and I can see myself through the lyrics. So I enjoy it, but it's not really helpful my to my future work.

考官

Do you think anyone in your family has the same talent?

考生

I would say it's my sister, I just found it recently like we go to Karaki together a lot in our summer holidays and I amazed about her vocal skill like she seems really good and she play high note perfectly so I really proud of her and also I really appreciate her talent.

语法

Present tense issue

× most of my relatives say that I'm good at singing

most of my relatives said that I was good at singing

The sentence refers to a past time ('When I was a child'), so the verb tense should be in the past to maintain consistency.

Verb + -ing form

× I'm really enjoying singing

I really enjoy singing

The present continuous tense ('I'm really enjoying') is not appropriate here because the statement is about a general feeling or habit, so the simple present tense should be used.

Subject-verb agreement errors

× It's make me feel happy and cheerful

It makes me feel happy and cheerful

The subject 'It' is singular, so the verb should be in the third person singular form 'makes' to agree with the subject.

Past tense issue

× most of my relatives say that I'm good at singing

most of my relatives said that I was good at singing

Since the time frame is in the past ('When I was a child'), the verb 'say' should be in the past tense 'said' and 'I'm' should be 'I was' to maintain tense consistency.

Past tense issue

× my friends are amazed my vocal skill when I raise my voice

my friends were amazed by my vocal skill when I raised my voice

The sentence refers to a past event, so the verbs should be in the past tense. Also, 'amazed' requires the preposition 'by' to indicate the cause of amazement.

Incorrect use of prepositions

× my friends are amazed my vocal skill

my friends are amazed by my vocal skill

The verb 'amazed' is usually followed by the preposition 'by' to indicate what causes the amazement.

Article errors

× I really have a talented in it

I really have talent in it

The word 'talented' is an adjective, but here a noun 'talent' is needed. Also, the article 'a' is unnecessary before 'talent' in this context.

Article errors

× I perform a a lot of the show of my school

I perform a lot of the shows at my school

The phrase 'a a lot' is incorrect; it should be 'a lot'. Also, 'show' should be plural 'shows' to match 'a lot of'. The preposition 'at' is more appropriate for locations like 'my school'.

Incorrect use of prepositions

× I perform a a lot of the show of my school and also to another school

I perform a lot of the shows at my school and also at another school

The preposition 'to' is incorrect here; 'at' is the correct preposition to indicate the location of performances.

Sentence structure errors

× although I'm quite good at singing, but my dream job is not to become a singer

although I'm quite good at singing, my dream job is not to become a singer

Using both 'although' and 'but' together is redundant. One should be removed to correct the sentence structure.

Incorrect use of pronouns

× it's not really helpful my to my future work

it's not really helpful to my future work

The pronoun 'my' is incorrectly placed and unnecessary here. The correct phrase is 'helpful to my future work'.

Past tense issue

× I just found it recently like we go to Karaki together a lot in our summer holidays

I just found it recently; we went to Karaki together a lot during our summer holidays

The verb 'go' should be in the past tense 'went' to match the past time frame. Also, 'like' is unnecessary and can be replaced with a semicolon or conjunction for clarity.

Past tense issue

× I amazed about her vocal skill

I was amazed by her vocal skill

The verb 'amazed' needs an auxiliary verb 'was' to form the past passive voice, and the preposition 'by' is required to indicate the cause.

Incorrect use of prepositions

× I amazed about her vocal skill

I was amazed by her vocal skill

The correct preposition after 'amazed' is 'by', not 'about'.

Present tense issue

× she play high note perfectly

she plays high notes perfectly

The verb 'play' should be in the third person singular form 'plays' to agree with the subject 'she'. Also, 'high note' should be plural 'high notes' to indicate multiple notes.
