Part 1

考官

Do you make a list when you shop?

考生

Yes I do. I make a list when I go shopping but it's just some. But sometimes I do not. And if I use the list I do not use the visible app or notes that I can memo, but rather I just list it on my thinking and then just occasionally use it.

考官

Do you make a list for your work? Does it work?

考生

When it comes to working, I definitely make a list because there are so many thing works tasks that I have to do. But if I don't do the if I don't make a list it makes everything more confused. And also if I do the memo it always worked when I'm doing my tasks.

考官

Why don't some people like making lists?

考生

I think that's because they think making a list is kind of like, umm, getting them trapped on that list. So for me, it's kind of a plan, but some people who are very unorganized and love something random, they would think it as a restriction.

考官

Do you prefer to make a list on paper or your phone?

考生

I prefer to make it on my phone because if I list on the paper and whenever I have to add some like schedule in between some schedules, I have to literally write again. But if I do with my phone I can just enter and then add a new one so that's more organized and easy to use.

Do you make a list when you shop?

分數: 70.0

建議: 문장 구조와 표현을 간결하고 자연스럽게 정리하세요. 질문에 바로 답한 뒤 구체적이고 일관된 이유를 하나나 두 문장으로 덧붙이세요. 예를 들어 ‘sometimes I don’t’ 같은 모호한 표현 대신 빈도(‘usually’, ‘sometimes’)와 이유를 명확히 하세요. 또한 ‘I just list it on my thinking’ 같은 어색한 표현은 ‘I keep it in my head’로 고치고, 불필요한 반복을 줄이세요.

範例: Yes, I usually make a shopping list. I often write it on my phone or keep it in my head when it’s something small, but for big grocery trips I always write everything down so I don’t forget anything.

Do you make a list for your work? Does it work?

分數: 72.0

建議: 의미 전달은 되지만 문법과 어휘 정확성을 높이세요. 불필요한 반복(예: 'if I don't do the if I don't make a list')을 제거하고 시제·수 일치를 바로잡으세요. 또한 linking phrase(‘therefore’, ‘so’)를 사용해 문장 흐름을 개선하고, 구체적인 예시(어떤 작업에 유용한지)를 한 문장으로 추가하세요.

範例: Yes, I always make a to-do list for work because I have many tasks. If I don’t make one, I get confused, so a list helps me prioritize and complete items, such as replying to emails and preparing reports.

Why don't some people like making lists?

分數: 75.0

建議: 의견 제시는 좋지만 말을 매끄럽게 연결하고 불필요한 말 버릇(umm)을 줄이세요. 'getting them trapped' 같은 표현을 더 자연스러운 어휘(‘feeling restricted’)로 바꾸고, 대비를 명확히 하기 위해 linking word(‘however’, ‘on the other hand’)를 사용하세요. 추가로 한 가지 구체적 이유나 예시를 들어 설명하세요.

範例: Some people dislike lists because they feel restricted by them. However, others, like me, see lists as helpful plans; for example, spontaneous people may prefer not to plan so they can be more flexible.

Do you prefer to make a list on paper or your phone?

分數: 78.0

建議: 이유 제시는 명확하지만 문장을 더 간결하고 정확하게 표현하세요. 중복되는 표현(‘some like schedule in between some schedules’)을 정리하고, 비교 구문에서 연결사(‘because’, ‘so’)를 적절히 사용하세요. 또한 구체적 기능 예시(알림, editing)로 설명을 보강하면 더 설득력 있습니다.

範例: I prefer making lists on my phone because it’s easy to edit and add items. For instance, I can set reminders, rearrange tasks, and update quantities without rewriting everything on paper.

文法

Present tense issue

× Yes I do. I make a list when I go shopping but it's just some.

Yes, I do. I make a list when I go shopping, but it's only a few items.

The sentence 'it's just some' is ungrammatical and vague. Use 'it's only a few items' to convey quantity; this corrects a present tense/word choice problem and makes the meaning clear. Suggestion: Use clear quantifiers ('a few items', 'a short list') and add commas for clause separation.

Present tense issue

× But sometimes I do not.

But sometimes I do not make one.

The sentence is fragmentary. Adding the verb phrase 'make one' completes the idea in present tense. Suggestion: Avoid leaving verbs implicit; state the action for clarity.

Incorrect use of the definite article

× And if I use the list I do not use the visible app or notes that I can memo, but rather I just list it on my thinking and then just occasionally use it.

If I use a list, I do not use visible apps or notes to save it; instead I keep it in my head and only use it occasionally.

Problems: article misuse ('the list' -> 'a list'), unidiomatic phrases ('visible app', 'notes that I can memo', 'list it on my thinking'). Rewriting fixes article use and makes the present-tense description natural. Suggestion: Use 'a' for a nonspecific list, use idiomatic expressions: 'apps', 'notes', 'keep it in my head'.

Present tense issue

× When it comes to working, I definitely make a list because there are so many thing works tasks that I have to do.

When it comes to work, I definitely make a list because there are so many tasks that I have to do.

Errors: 'working' -> 'work' (noun better here), 'thing works tasks' is ungrammatical. Corrects noun choice and redundant words in present tense. Suggestion: Use 'work' for the general topic and 'tasks' for items to do; avoid stacking unrelated words.

Present tense issue

× But if I don't do the if I don't make a list it makes everything more confused.

But if I don't make a list, everything becomes more confusing.

Original has repetition and wrong adjective/adverb forms: 'more confused' is awkward for 'everything'; use 'more confusing' or 'more confused' with people. Also remove repeated clause. Suggestion: Use 'become' with 'confusing' to describe a situation; eliminate duplicate phrases.

Past tense issue

× And also if I do the memo it always worked when I'm doing my tasks.

Also, when I use a memo, it always works while I'm doing my tasks.

Tense inconsistency: 'worked' (past) with 'I'm doing' (present continuous). Align tenses: present simple 'works' with present continuous. Also 'do the memo' -> 'use a memo'. Suggestion: Keep tense consistent within the sentence; use appropriate verbs like 'use' for notes/memos.

Sentence structure errors

× I think that's because they think making a list is kind of like, umm, getting them trapped on that list.

I think it's because they feel that making a list can feel like being trapped by it.

Awkward structure: 'getting them trapped on that list' is unidiomatic. Rephrase using passive/gerund structure 'being trapped by it' to match present-tense opinion. Suggestion: Use natural collocations: 'trapped by', 'feel that' and avoid fillers like 'umm' in formal speech.

Incorrect use of adjectives or adverbs

× So for me, it's kind of a plan, but some people who are very unorganized and love something random, they would think it as a restriction.

For me, it's a kind of plan, but some people who are very disorganized and like randomness would see it as a restriction.

Errors: 'unorganized' -> 'disorganized' (more common), 'love something random' -> 'like randomness', 'think it as' -> 'see it as'. Adjusts adjective choice and verb collocations. Suggestion: Use standard collocations: 'disorganized', 'like randomness', 'see something as'.

Present tense issue

× I prefer to make it on my phone because if I list on the paper and whenever I have to add some like schedule in between some schedules, I have to literally write again.

I prefer to make lists on my phone because if I write a list on paper and need to add a new item between existing items, I have to rewrite it.

Problems: tense and phrasing ('make it on my phone' -> 'make lists on my phone'), article use ('the paper' -> 'paper'), awkward phrase 'add some like schedule in between some schedules'. Rewriting clarifies present preference and process. Suggestion: Use 'write a list on paper', 'add a new item', and 'rewrite' for clearer expression.

Present tense issue

× But if I do with my phone I can just enter and then add a new one so that's more organized and easy to use.

But with my phone I can just enter items and add a new one, so it's more organized and easier to use.

Grammar: 'do with my phone' is vague; use 'with my phone'. Also comparative/adverb form: 'easy' -> 'easier' when comparing, and add 'it's' for a complete clause. Suggestion: Use complete clauses, proper comparative forms ('easier') and plural verbs for repeated actions ('enter items').
