Do you make a list when you shop?
请注意:1) 用简洁的主题句直接回答问题(例如:"Generally no, I don’t make a list when I shop.");2) 提供一到两句具体细节说明原因或举例;3) 避免停顿语(umm, well)与重复词,保证句子完整;4) 控制在最多5句话内并使用连接词如“because”或“so”。
Generally no, I don’t make a list when I shop. I tried it once while I was living in Australia because I wanted to buy all the ingredients for cooking. However, it didn’t work well because I kept forgetting to check the list. So now I usually just buy what I need spontaneously.
Do you make a list for your work? Does it work?
Yes, I do make lists for work and study. I usually write them in the morning after I wake up, and I order tasks by priority. For example, I focus on urgent deadlines first, then move on to routine tasks that can be postponed. This method helps me stay organized and meet important deadlines.
Why don't some people like making lists?
I think there are a few reasons. First, some people find making lists tedious and prefer not to plan. Second, others feel lists don’t work for them and prefer alternatives, such as using phone reminders or tackling tasks spontaneously. These methods can suit different personalities.
Do you prefer to make a list on paper or your phone?
I use both, but I prefer paper for daily tasks and my phone for long-term goals. For example, I write a quick to-do list on a notepad each morning, while I keep project plans and reminders on a notes app so I can review them anytime.
× I was writing down, umm, all the ingredients, all the ingredient I need.
✓ I was writing down, umm, all the ingredients, all the ingredients I needed.
另外“all the ingredient”单数名词与复数“all the ingredients”不一致,应改为复数。
× But it turned out to be not so good 'cause I think I still.
✓ But it turned out not to be so good because I think I still didn’t follow it.
× I was writing down, umm, all the ingredients, all the ingredient I need.
✓ I was writing down, umm, all the ingredients, all the ingredients I needed.
× So I will umm, basically ride this list based on umm the priority.
✓ So I will, umm, basically write this list based on the priority.
另外“based on umm the priority”可保持,但要注意发音或停顿处不影响书写。建议:确认发音对应的正确词汇;学习常用动词搭配,如“write a list based on priority”。
× Like which things I should be focusing on 1st and then which things could be postponed a little bit.
✓ Like which things I should focus on first and which things could be postponed a little bit.
× First, maybe they are just too lazy and to make a list and second, maybe they find that this is not working for them and at any other masses or other strategies to keep them on track, it's not necessary by making a list I guess.
✓ First, maybe they are just too lazy to make a list. Second, maybe they find that this doesn't work for them or they have other methods or strategies to keep on track, so making a list isn't necessary, I guess.
例:'too lazy and to make a list' 结构错误,应为 'too lazy to make a list';'this is not working for them' 更自然为 'this doesn't work for them';'at any other masses' 无意义,应改为 'or they have other methods/strategies'。
× Well, I think I use both of them to be honest. Umm, I write down some of them on paper. Well, I keep my long term goals on my phone. So yeah. I mean daily goes goes on the paper and then long term goal probably I will store it in my phone.
✓ Well, I think I use both of them, to be honest. Umm, I write some things down on paper. I keep my long-term goals on my phone. So yeah, I mean daily tasks go on paper and long-term goals I’ll probably store in my phone.
原句中副词和短语位置混乱(例如 'write down some of them' 更自然为 'write some things down');重复“goes goes”;“daily goes”不自然,应为“daily tasks go”。
